This is the time of year that many of us are scrambling to burn some extra fat and calories. I have been using this treadmill workout for the past few years and it is by far my favorite treadmill interval workout! This appears to be a long run (45 minutes) but it goes by so fast due to the quick changes in speed. This burns a ton of calories and I feel absolutely exhausted and proud at the end of this set and I am always amazed how quickly the time passes.

Here are a couple tips and modifications that you can easily use to adapt this to your fitness level.
- If you are feeling apprehensive about this workout, just start by committing to going through the set once instead of three times. I’m sure you will feel up to going through the set at least once more 😉
- If you haven’t ran or worked out in a while or are totally new to running, leave the incline at zero and walk instead of sprint when the speed goes above 6.5.
- If you are a beast and this is too easy, up the incline with every 6.5 speed. That should make it more challenging for you super-humans.
